Dear Friends,
I am starting a new blog about our Summer Vacation 2019 Road Trip in our FIAT PALIO 1.6 GTX Black Beauty to Coimbatore and Palakkad, Thrissure, Guruvayur Kerala and Mysore.
I have named this Road Trip as FIAT LOVE STORY:2 as the 1st Fiat Love Story was done in December 2008 and we had covered some of the places 10 years back. Here is a 10 year old photo and now taken in May 2019 after 10 years.
15.05.2019 (Wednesday) Night 10 PM
Chennai to Coimbatore
We started from home Chennai by 9.30 pm and stopped at Ananda Bhavan hotel opposite of Saravana Stores Poonamalle for night dinner and started after 10 PM.
There was heavy traffic jam for almost up to 12 midnight up to Tambaram and Vandalur. The climate was very hot & sweating. Bumper to Bumper traffic was draining my energy.

16.05.2019 (Thursday) Early Morning 6 AM
Highway to Coimbatore
We stopped after Salem to capture the early rising sun
We reached Vadavalli Coimbatore by 10 AM Morning safely. We have a lot of peacocks in plenty in all sizes around these hills & neighborhood visiting us.
They visit all the houses and people do not disturb them. It is a very nice sight to see them.
16.05.2019 (Thursday) Late Evening 7 PM
Visit to Marudhamalai Murugan Temple
(Temple dedicated to Lord Karthikeyan 2nd Son of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvathy, younger Brother of Lord Ganesha)
We visited the Moola Stanam of Lord Muruga.
Sri Pambatti siddhar was a great devotee of Lord Muruga. He attained the eight supernatural powers called 'Ashtamasiddhi' after performing penance for a very long time in a cave on Marudamala.
Sri Pambatti Siddhar is one of the 18 Siddhars. Cittar from Tamil language cittu meaning intellect, singular Cittan refers to intellectual people in Tamil. He has written many poems around 600 lines of text are available today.
It is believed that he lived close to 125 years.
My Love for FIAT is from my younger days. My father owned Premier Padmini.
My 1st Car was Fiat Palio 1.6 GTX Silver Frost. We did 2 Long Distance Road Trips in this Fiat Palio in December 2008 southern States Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa & Maharashtra.
In December 2009 we did Coimbatore to Indo PAK Border SAM Village Rajasthan

In December 2010 we purchased a FIAT Linea 1.3 MJD and we did 2 Long Distance Road Trips to Bhutan & Nepal.
I lost both my FIAT PALIO SILVER & FIAT LINEA in December 2015 Chennai Floods.
